Meet your Host

Allison

Allison has been an avid traveler since before she could walk! Raised in a family that enjoyed discovering the world, she kept the tradition alive and well in her adult life. Having lived in seven countries and traveled to more than 40, she is a well-seasoned adventurer. She’s used these experiences to organize travel for friends and family, as well as professionally.

In recent years she began to connect and commit to her spiritual growth and mental & physical health in a meaningful way. Combining her love of travel design and holistic health, she decided to start her company, Allie’s Acre, with the hope of one day opening her own retreat space and guesthouse. FAQs

  1. Why Georgia?
    1. Georgia is a beautiful country, with welcoming people, delicious fresh food, natural beauty, a rich history, and much more! To read in depth on the reasons to visit Georgia, check out this blog post from Allie’s Acre.
  2. Why attend a retreat instead of going on a regular holiday?
    1. Have you ever gone on vacation, only to feel like you need a vacation from that vacation? We know that feeling all too well. By attending a retreat, not only will you boost your EQ, have an opportunity to unplug and connect to yourself, and experience adventure, but you’ll also feel refreshed and rejuvenated after a transformative 5 days with us!
  3. Do you cater to all dietary types?
    1. Yes! We will confirm any dietary restrictions when you sign up to attend!
  4. Is a hospital or doctor easily accessible in case of an emergency?
    1. Yes! There is a fully equipped hospital and emergency room less than a km away from the retreat guesthouse. There are also pharmacies, grocery stores, and dentists nearby.
  5. Do you need to speak Georgian?
    1. No! We will have someone to handle translations when necessary!
  6. Will we have free time during the retreat?
    1. Yes! This is not only a time for deep inner work, but also relaxation and rejuvenation. We all need alone time to recharge sometimes.
  7. Do we have to be unplugged the whole time?
    1. We ask that you keep your phone on airplane mode during the retreat. Every day we will have a designated “tech time”. This is to ensure ultimate relaxation and maintain a peaceful environment for all of our guests.
  8. Is drinking permitted during the retreat?
    1. Yes, but we ask that guests abstain until after our evening circle discussion, and to make a conscious effort to make the most of your time with us by stepping away from typical distractions!
  9. Why do you maintain these price points?
    1. Our price point maintains accessibility while securing a high standard for our guests. It ensures compensation for our travel experts, organizers, hosts, coaches, drivers, and any miscellaneous costs that are incurred to ensure the best possible experience for you while honoring our company values!
